Efter att vi blev tvungna att ta bort vårat varmblod Prinsen hade vi bara 2 hästar. Vi hade haft 3 hästar så länge jag kunde minnas, och det kändes rysligt tomt med att bara ha två egna. Jag hade en plan om att skaffa en ung minishettis, som jag kunde forma från grunden. Den "planen" va mest en dröm utan riktig tro om att bli verklighet. 
 
En dag höll jag på att skrolla runt på hästnet. Jag hade slutat kolla på hästar till salu och kollade nu bara på a-ponnyer i östergötland. Den 1;a Maj 2012 hittade jag en som bodde i närheten som jag blev ganska kär i. Det va en svartskäck hingst med jättefina tecken. Jag kollade på honom på datorn i 3 dagar, sedan visade jag mamma och pappa. På något sätt var jag säker på att han redan var såld, men när vi ringde och frågade var han fortfarande kvar. Pappa och mamma tyckte att det inte kunde vara något problem med att titta på honom, och vi åkte samma dag. 
 
Det var inte så lång att åka och där på gårdsplanen stod han. Han var grymt fin, men ganska mycket större än vad jag hade tänkt mej. Josse (uppfödaren) tyckte att vi skulle träffa Fighter eftersom hon tänkte att vi skulle passa bättre med honom. Han va så otroligt mysig, söt och försiktig. Jag föll pladask. Efter det gick allt ganska snabbt. Vi bestämde att han skulle komma till oss ett par veckor senare. Han skulle bara hinna kastreras först. 
Och så en dag stog han utanför transporten, lugn som en filbunke. Gnäggade kanske en gång. När vi släppte ihop honom med Larsse blev han dock väldigt rädd. Sprang runt, skrek och var superledsen, saknade sina vänner och kände sig väldigt förvirrad.
 
Dagarna som kom va ganska sorgliga. Vi försökte släppa ihop alla tillsammans, men Z som är väldigt vaktande över sin flock försökte jaga i väg honom hela tiden. Fighter som är väldigt underlägsen blev super ledsen, och stog ensam i lilla hagen. Jag satt hos honom i timmar och han låg ofta i mitt knä och sov. vilket gjorde att vi fick ett ganska starkt band från början. Han är en riktig knähäst.
 
Fighter är en otrolig liten social häst som gillar uppmärksamhet, även fast han är väldigt blyg bland nya människor. Han är otroligt smidig att jobba med från marken, men ligger hellre och vilar i knät på någon. Han är även en liten hoppkanon! Fighter kan även dra vagnen även fast han trivs bättre att springa vid sidan av den istället för framför.
